Summer Spiti – Explore the Himalayas

Your adventure begins as we drive from Chandigarh to Narkanda, passing through the scenic towns of Dharampur, Dadhau, and Shimla. Take a stroll along The Mall Road & The Ridge in Shimla and visit the historic Christ Church. Enjoy a cozy overnight stay in Narkanda, a gateway to the Himalayas.

After breakfast, we head towards Kalpa, driving through Kufri, Sarahan, and Rampur-Bushahr into the breathtaking Kinnaur Valley. Witness the majestic Kinner Kailash Peak, visit the Buddhist & Hindu Temples, and explore the famous Suicide Point. Experience a serene overnight stay at a Kalpa hotel with a view of the Himalayas.

Drive along the Hindustan-Tibet Highway, one of India's most adventurous roads. Visit the charming Nako Lake & Monastery, and explore the intriguing Gue Mummy Village, home to a well-preserved ancient monk mummy. End the day with a warm homestay experience in Tabo, the "Ajanta of the Himalayas."

Today, we visit some of the highest inhabited villages in the world. Explore Komik (Asia’s highest village at 4513m), send a postcard from Hikkim (world’s highest post office), and hunt for fossils at Langza, a prehistoric wonderland. Return to Kaza for an overnight stay.

Start your day with a visit to Key Monastery, an 11th-century marvel and the largest monastery in Spiti Valley. Continue to Kibber Village, famous for snow leopards and wildlife spotting. Walk across the Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest suspension bridge. Return to Kaza for a cozy night’s rest.

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Chandratal Lake, also known as the "Moon Lake". Despite the rugged terrain, this pristine lake is a paradise for camping and stargazing. Spend the night in Chandratal camps, enjoying the tranquil Himalayan night sky.

Bid farewell to Chandratal as we drive through the iconic Atal Tunnel and Rohtang Pass, capturing spectacular landscapes along the way. Reach Manali, where you can explore Mall Road, Hidimba Temple, and Manu Temple. Overnight stay at a comfortable Manali hotel.

Your Spiti Valley road trip concludes with a scenic drive back to Chandigarh, carrying unforgettable memories of Himalayan landscapes, ancient monasteries, and thrilling adventures.
